Accessibility

Everyone on court. Everyone online.

PIV Club & Foundation wants every visitor to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our commitment

We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA: semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-operable menus with visible focus, text that scales with your browser settings and pinch zoom, sufficient color contrast, and descriptive alternative text for images. Pages are available in English and Chinese.

Accessibility is ongoing work. If something on this site does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.

The accessibility panel

Adjust the site to suit you.

Every page has an accessibility panel in the lower-left corner. Open it with the round button, or press Alt + Shift + A.
  • Quick profiles

One-tap presets for vision impairment, dyslexia and reading, ADHD and focus, seizure safety, and keyboard or motor needs.

  • Text

Enlarge text up to 175%, widen line, letter and word spacing, change alignment, or switch to a readable font.

  • Color

High-contrast, dark or inverted color modes, and grayscale or boosted saturation.

  • Reading aids

Highlight links, headings or the keyboard focus, enlarge the cursor, follow text with a reading guide or mask, stop animations, hide images, mute sounds.

  • Tools

Have the page read aloud with your browser's own speech engine, or jump to any heading or landmark from the page-structure list.

Open the accessibility panel

Keyboard shortcut: Alt + Shift + A. The panel is available in English and Chinese and follows the language of the page.

Your choices are saved only in your own browser and are never sent to PIV. The panel script is delivered by the jsDelivr content delivery network, which receives the technical request information needed to serve the file. The panel supplements, and does not replace, the accessibility built into the site itself, which works with screen readers, keyboard navigation and browser settings without it.
